Crocodilian Coprolite
For years these have been attributed to the back end of a megalodon shark, but itās not. If megs were anything like modern lamniformes then they would expel liquid. When hiking the swamps in Florida I come across these pretty often from gatorsā¦.only much fresher.
More often than not, these are recovered in areas where there are other croc fossils in the rivers of South Carolina.
Everyone needs one of these on their shelf. Show your friends. Tell them to smell it. Some will.
