I've been after one of these for a few years now. The only other one that I saw online was at auction for several hundred thousand dollars! It was nearly life-size!
The detail on this piece is mind boggling. This isn't the easiest material to carve, but somehow they managed to obtain great detail, symmetry and accurate proportions. A true and very talented artist!
This is carved from Gibeon meteorite. Known for it's aesthetic Widmanstätten pattern, this type of meteorite is often used for jewelry.
